i’m madeline brown, a brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist focusing on ceramics and functional home goods. i am also passionate about painting, music, and interior design.

originally from texas, i came to nyc in 2018. i have always loved visual arts and dabbled in painting and drawing from a young age, but began ceramics in 2020 and fell in love with the process. i find inspiration both in nature and the buzz of the city, and am consistently challenged by the balance in pottery’s attention to detail met with imperfection and surprise.

i’m excited to continue exploring new works and growing my collection through new forms and techniques. there’s nothing i love more than bringing joy to a home through items that make everyday moments beautiful... like the comfort in a morning coffee routine, a delicious plate of pasta, or a vase of flowers that make each day a little brighter.
